  ABOUT DJANGO STUDIOS

My name is Chad Hill and I am a certfiable gearhead. It began at an early age thanks to my parents. My mom taught me how to draw, and my Dad and Uncles instilled a love of hot rods, tractors, and WWII airplanes. It’s all their fault, and I love them all the more for it.

For the past 18 years I’ve been a freelance graphic designer in Chicago developing consumer packaging for companies like Hasbro, Unilever, Sears, Valspar, Old World Industries, and Raybestos (in which we won the 2010 and 2011 Car Care Council Women’s Board and the Automotive Communication Council Awards). By night… it’s all about the cars. I have a ’67 Chevelle SS convertible that I built in high school. There is our family cruiser, a ’55 Chevy 210 wagon. And then there are the ’36 Fords… 7 to be exact between my Dad, my cousin and myself, ranging from a project cabriolet and sedan delivery, to my 5 window coupe which was my Dad’s first car. I’ve driven it all over the midwest and even to Austin, TX. It’s a real family heirloom. Over the years my work has been seen in mass market retail stores, on the HAMB, in Hot Rod Magazine, Hot Rod TV, on Hunnert Car Pileup swag, at air shows on the side of a WWII B-24 Bomber, and throughout Hot Rod Chassis & Cycle, where not only do I handle design and marketing, but I am a co-owner as well. As one of the founding members of the Brand Speed Shop, I am excited to extend my passion for cars into my love of building quality brands and award winning design. Welcome to my garage…
