Tarheel Hal P-47 T-shirt

Description

The P-47 was one of the greatest fighter planes from WWII, and there is no more colorful example than ship assigned to Lt Ike Davis of the 366th Fighter Squadron of the 358th Fighter Group. I wanted to commemorate this particular P-47’s combat career by illustrating it making an attack on a German train deep inside Germany in the final days of WWII.
