Finished up painting this Placid Lassie A-2 Jacket yesterday and getting it ready for the trip back to its owner.
The cat is out of the bag... I'll be at Fagen Fighters WWII Museum in MN next week painting the nose art on their new P-47! And on Wednesday Nov 29 at 1pm, you can stop in for their History Hour program to watch me paint as well as a Q&A.
Excited to share that the Bomber Jacket exhibit that I designed for the Military Aviation Museum featuring the fantastic photos by John Slemp's book "Bomber Boys: WWII Flight Jacket Art", will open on November 18, and I will be there doing a live jacket painting demonstration on a commemorative 100th Bomb Group jacket!
