Now that this has been made public, I can share the new logo that I designed for the Commemorative Air Force (formerly the Dixie Wing) CAF Airbase Georgia. They asked for an aircraft depiction that was not representative of the specific aircraft in the collection because they were so varied. Rather, they wanted something that was indicative of the era and the USAAF and USN. So this was the result. I’m sure you can pick out some specific features from specific aircraft. Some features are just what I made up. In the end, they were happy and this is the result!
